Declan de Lacy is a director of PKF O’Connor, Leddy & Holmes Limited, where he leads the firm’s Advisory & Restructuring Department. Declan is a Chartered Accountant and has degrees in both economics and law, and has more than 15 years of experience in the field of insolvency. Declan is frequently appointed as liquidator by the High Court, creditors and shareholders.

Declan has been appointed as liquidator in some of the most complex and contentious liquidations of recent years including in cases involving pyramid schemes, insurance fraud, and obstructive directors. He also has been appointed in a large number of routine solvent and insolvent cases.

Declan has delivered courses on the subject of insolvency and articles written by him are regularly published in both technical magazines and the national press. Declan is a member of the Irish Society of Insolvency Practitioners and was previously a member of that body’s law reform committee.

Eoin Massey is an associate director in PKF O’Connor, Leddy & Holmes Limited. Eoin is a Chartered Certified Accountant and has a degree in business and enterprise and diplomas in financial advice and fraud investigation. Eoin has more than 10 years of experience in the field of corporate insolvency.

Eoin has lectured for the Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the area of business planning and cashflow management. He is also a member of the Irish Society of Insolvency Practitioners and sits on their Representation Committee.

Eoin’s work largely entails day to day management of liquidation appointments, advising directors of companies in financial difficulty, or those strategically restructuring for future planning. He has worked with clients across all major industries including hospitality, property and construction, manufacturing and retail, professional organisations, regulated entities and charities.
