You don't need to give up the well-made items

The general rule is quality over quantity. You will get far more space, choosing shoes will end up much easier, and you will will no longer feel guilty when looking at dozens of sandals and high heels which looked nice whenever you bought them, but gave you blisters the one and only time you wore them, or ended up not to be described as a good match with your outfit.

You don't need to stop trying delicious food, either

Some minimalists become vegetarians or vegans. Some don't. Minimalism works in any event. Some individuals switch to quite simple, basic food. Some keep enjoying complex meals. If you love cooking complex meals, go ahead and, carry on doing it! Should you rather make something simple and tasty than complex and attractive, then this is the smartest choice. Minimalists usually eat naturally and steer clear of processed food, but that still means delicious meals.

You don't need to live like a monk

Although some minimalists choose to call home like monks or Spartans, many don't. Would you enjoy your comfortable furniture? Keep it, then, so long as it does not clutter your living area, since the point is always to unclutter your lifetime, never to sleep on to the floor.

Your pals won't hate you

You will find those people who are concered about everyone who doesn't live exactly the same way they are doing. Because of this they're concered about most the planet population, since even people in the identical country don't all live much the same way. However, if you have friends and/or loved ones who are that way, as soon as they realize you aren't wanting to force these to change their very own lives, they'll accept the modification in yours.

You don't need to live like (insert a reputation of a famous minimalist associated with preference)

Don't assume all minimalists are the same. Some live on desert islands or in the wilderness. Others reside in big cities new York or London, and, yes, have jobs and cars, live in big apartments or houses, have big families... The purpose of the minimalist lifestyle is to find a simple life style which suits your needs and your daily life choices, not somebody else's.

Minimalist lifestyle isn't scary or exotic. This is a life style in which you own only stuff you really need and make use of, do items that really need being done, and thus free time, space and for which is truly essential for you.
